Convention centers are large and loud so you need a powerful radio that also has great audio quality. The Motorola RDU4100 is a 4-watt two way radio and will cover up to 350,000 square feet in most environments. This radio has a great speaker so that you can make sure your message is heard.
Vertex Standard offers similar radios in the VX-231-AG7B-5 UNI and VX-351-AG7B-5 UNI. These radios will get similar range to the Motorola RDU4100 and are extremely durable, including a 3-year warranty. All three of these radios are great at communicating through concrete, metal, walls, and other objects that may be throughout your convention center.
To add an additional level of security and privacy, you can pair your walkie talkies with earpieces or speaker mics. The RDU4100 will work with the RLN6423A Swivel Earpiece, 56517 Earpiece, and the HKLN4477A Surveillance Earpiece, as well as the 53862 Speaker Mic.
